Exploring the Signup Experience

Bottomless integrates with your Shopify store for a seamless signup experience. This guide walks you through the customer journey during the signup process.

When subscription options are enabled for a specific product, the product page will display the following choices:

• One-time Purchase -- for one-off orders

• Subscribe & Save -- for fixed-frequency subscriptions

• Subscribe by Usage -- for usage-based subscriptions

The purchasing flow makes it easy to access information about the usage-based subscription.

By selecting "Subscribe by Usage," the customer will see a "Learn More" button that reveals a quick subscription summary.

They can expand this widget for more information:

The popup will highlight the smart scale's functionality and features:

Scrolling down, customers can select "See FAQ" for additional details:

Once done, customers can sign up by clicking "Go to Checkout." This button takes them to a Shopify checkout page.

After placing an order, their subscription will be created, and they will receive a welcome notification with a magic link to their Customer Portal.
